Just watched the 300 movie at Cineplex, Jurong East Central. Went there because it’s not crowded. The movie is quite nice in visual but story wise is not so exciting at all.

If you like the violent, sex and battle scenes, this is the movie that you shouldn’t missed.

（東京訊）有二戰日軍批評政府試圖掩飾真相。

一名前日軍士兵、87歲的金子安次最近在東京家中接受外電訪問時指，二戰期間，他還當日本皇軍步兵時，曾在中國強姦過無數女性，他至今仍記得她們的慘叫聲，無論當時這些婦女如何叫喊，日軍均無理會她們的死活。

他說，這些女性有些是來自朝鮮半島的少女，有的只有十多歲，另一些是金子安次和其他日本兵從中國華東部的村子裡搶掠來的婦女。有時她們抽著煙便擘大兩腿地等候……。他批評日本政府無惡不作，近日的言論是掩飾真相。 （星洲日報／國際‧2007.03.11）

Fishing

I like fishing. Very common, you’ll got some mutual interest friends once you’re really enjoying it. To me, fishing is like you’re going out today to a beautiful scenery like seaside, lakeside, small jungle or inside a palm plantation field to enjoy an instant peace of the day. It’s really doesn’t matter to me whether I got any acquisition. I got a friend who like fishing a lot, to him fishing is a must in his life. Let’s call him Kelvin. Kelvin like fishing as I do, maybe more than I do, but what differentiate me and him is he really cares about how many fishes he can get for each occasion.

I can tell you clearly that fishing is about Luck and Patience. (of course, technique also plays a small part)

Firefox 2.0.0.2 Crashed Frequently in Windows XP

After I upgraded my firefox to version 2.0.0.2, it crashed frequently.

Tried to roll back to version 2.0.0.1, no luck at all.

I decided to roll back at 2.0 which is successful.

Download the 2.0 at http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%202.0.exe

Uninstall the 2.0.0.2.

Use Registry Cleaner such as WINASO Registry Optimizer http://www.winaso.com/ to clean up registry.

Install the firefox version 2.0

and voila….it doesn’t crash anymore.

Mutual Funds

Start to think to invest some money into unit trust in equity market which just recovered back from a few days downfall. Really do not know whether it is a good decision, but for sure I know it’s a from heart one. By taking advices from books to forums, we all knew that we must make sure we’re insured before going into investment. The next important thing is the reserve for rainy days, it will range from 6 months to a year’s fixed expenses such as mortgage repayment, insurance premium, monthly basic needs and etc.

Actually I already got a RSP on Investment-Link unit trust although the RSP amount is merely 100 monthly. Hope I’ll be reward handsomely for my ‘virgin’ investment
